Our Mission

The Harmony Academy of Music and the Arts Library supports the district’s commitment to increasing literacy for all students. Through our library program, we:

Ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
Empower students to be critical thinkers and enthusiastic readers.
Encourage skillful research and ethical use of information.
Provide access to engaging books and digital resources that support a love of reading both at school and at home.

At Harmony, Ms. Bilbo, Library Media Specialist, leads our program with the goal of building strong readers and lifelong learners. By aligning our work with Arkansas State Standards and district literacy priorities, the library provides high-quality service to both students and staff.

Our library helps achieve literacy goals by:

Offering books at a variety of reading levels to meet students where they are.
Encouraging daily independent reading and providing time and space for it.
Teaching information literacy skills that support classroom learning.

The library is open Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
